Horse archers use their mount's agility to keep themselves at range from their opponents. They flurry disengage actions with their attacks to ensure that they do not suffer return fire, and can be very frustrating to bring to grips.

Attack (Saber): 10 dice (damage 11)
Attack (Self Bow): 15 dice at short range (damage 9)
Attack (Grapple): 5 dice (6 dice to control)
Combat Movement: 15 dice
Evasion: 6; Parry 6
Soak/Hardness: 5/0 (Buff Jacket)

Special Attacks

Chopping Saber: By spending one initiative, the Horse Archer may add 3 damage to a withering attack or 1 damage to a decisive attack made with their saber. Their defense is lowered by 1 until their next action.


Mounted Warrior: The Horse Archer loses 1 point of accuracy and 1 point of defense when fighting other mounted troops or infantry equipped with reaching weapons.

Notes: These are at elite levels; a veteran version can be set up by dropping all dice pools by 2, while a novice version can be set up by dropping all dice pools by 4. The veteran and novice versions would be great for battle groups.
