Cultures faced by heavily armed horse-troops have developed an array of relatively cheap tactics to deal with their overwhelming charges. Large weapons with extended reach are used to remove the opponent from their mount, and then heavy attacks such as cleaving or piercing are used to penetrate the armor of foes preferably flat on their back. These tactics require nerves of steel, and these troops are trained to face overwhelmingly powerful opponents. As such, they will spend willpower more liberally to ensure that their attacks land.
